Never trust selfish friends Moral Story
Once there lived two friends in a village. They became close friends and maintained their sincerity toward one another. Once of them was strong. active and tall while the other was short they were acing their way through a jungle they saw a bear coming towards them from a distance.
They were stunned with fright. The tall friend without showing any concern for his fiend ran claim bed up a towering tree and concealed himself in the branches.
He did not stop to help his friend in the plight The other friend found himself quite helpless in the predicament. Although he was short of height and strength he was very wise and quick at wits. A clever idea flashed through his mind.
The adage The bear does not touch a corpse was playing in his head. He fell to the ground motionless. As the bear approached him he stopped breathing and pretended to be dead. The bear felt him with tits snout smelt him all over considered him to be dead and went away.
When it was quite gone the other friend descended from the tree and jocularly inquired of his friend what the bear has whispered in his ear.
It gave me the advice his companion replied. Never go on a trip with someone who leaves you when things get dangerous.
Friendships are put to the test through misfortune. He made the decision to stop traveling with his self centered companion and go it alone instead.
